Is there an expected release date for the newer model? I have two old Century CD units, one of which is no longer responding. I'm planning on ordering at least one of your units based on the statements of compatibility with my older units.

The newer unit is supposed to be quieter, but the noise never bothered me. Just looking to replace my one "dead" unit.

If the release is imminent, I’d rather get the newer model.
