I can't get the MediaTracker 2.1.3 for OS X to run.
When I start the MediaTracker application I receive an error :"A fatal error occurred. Unable to create or open database file."
I tried bothe the standard and the Lite version.
I have OS X 10.5.7
Kind regards,
Anyone out there who got the Century CD to work with OS X?
Cheers,
Yes, I was able to get it to work this weekend on a Mac OS X 10.4.11 system. But I found that it was problematic to run the software as a non-admin user. If you're seeing problems running as a limited user, you might try running as an admin.
Note that I was able to resolve *some* of the limited user issues by changing the permissions of the following folder to world writable:
/Library/Application Support/Digistore Solutions
But I still saw a warning when launching the standard version regarding an inability to register, or something like that.
In the end I just gave up and am running the software under a user with admin privileges.
Hope you can get it to run...
Best,
Allen Cronce
Hello Allen,
Greetings from Digistore Solutions.
You may wish to give the below steps a go by changing the below mention file permission to enable the reading and writable by all users
- /Library/Application Support/DigiStore Solutions/MediaTRACKER/ mt_library.mtc
- /Library/Preferences/com.dss.MediaTRACKER.plist
