I'm looking to develop a command-line interface for a Linux system to do automated backups on the DiscHub (basically, burn an ISO and advance to the next disc).

Does the SDK available through the Centurion Alliance program include source code that makes low-level operation of the DiscHub clear? Or can you release these technical details? If I end up with a working Linux CLI I'd be happy to hand it over to you--I'm just interested in a single working Hub for personal use.
