An idea for unit stackability

the pins that units use to plug into each other are rather fragile, and also this system gives you only the option of verticle mounting. I would think that an electronic linking, like bluetooth or even a cord, would allow you more flexibility. For axample if you lacked the verticle space to go more than a couple high but had the horizontal space for 3 stacks of two

Hello Woart

Greetings from Digistore Solutions.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion.

We have already taken into account on the different type of stacking approach. The bluetooth approach is definitely a good choice given its flexiblilty. We have noted your suggestion and will seriously consider this approach for our future models.

Best regards,

Ivan

Bluetooth would definitely be more convenient, however, I would have a concern about my data transferring via Bluetooth - both from a security and a throughput aspect. I would prefer a daisy chain via USB option so a base unit could also daisychain an alongside stack. Each separate stack will need its own power supply and this will need careful explanation in the user manual.

May I submit another Option in the same mode as Bluetooth. Quite a few of us
have our houses wired WiFi,with a Router & several Bridges in Connection to The,In my case Directvs DVRs & BluRay Players (Connected for software upgrades).
Mine is used in conjuction with Directv DVR and (MRV) Milti Room Viewing of Video that was saved on DVRs...
Might it be Possible to include a Future Connection-WiFi through USB?
In my case me thinks this would be very helpful if you were trying to decide exactly what movie in the colection You`d like to watch & could View the search results on the TV screen.(Same thing with Music Choices)
Thank You
